Blue Cape had an older half brother by Idris, named  Charlie George,and he was  in training with Peter Monteith who tragically died last year . Charlie George was  placed  4th on his jumps debut and  won three times in succession.  Blue Cape is the full brother to Trafalgar House, a multiple winner in Spain
His older half sisters Flying Hen by Port Lucaya  a multiple winner and Faithful Friend by Treasure Kay have both had wins in Italy and Greece. 
He also has  a half brother in Madrid by Namaqualand  who is another multiple winner.
